Baron Samedi: 
Within the Voodoo pantheon there exists a family of Loa called the Guede. These are the spirits of the dead, who are led by Baron Samedi and his wife, Manman Brigitte. 
Baron Samedi is the epitome of refinement and sophistication. He is suave and charming, loud, rude, and crass with a penchant for telling hilariously obscene jokes. He is also a very sexual Loa, who spends much of his time engaging in lewd, licentious behavior, while ridiculing those who take themselves too seriously.
The Baron is very fond of children, and as the Loa of death, he will go out of his way to care for and protect them. As such, he is petitioned to save the lives of children who are sick or at death’s door. Yet when it comes to adults, he is only called on to heal the sick as a last resort as he is the one who decides whether they will cross over into the afterlife, or whether they will be allowed to recover from their illness. 
Baron Samedi has various incarnations, each performing a distinct role and each with their own personality traits and mannerisms. They are Baron La Croix, Baron Cimitiere, and Baron Criminel. Sometimes these personas are depicted as separate beings that have a strong link to Baron Samedi.

• 7200 x 10800 pix, 300 DPI – Image Fits a 24” X 36” Frame

Once your order is complete you will have immediate access to your images via a link on the Orders Status page. In addition, you will receive an email containing the same link which you can use to download your digital files as well.
