Elegua:

Elegua holds a central role in Santeria and Yoruba religions. In Haitian Vodou and other Afro-Caribbean traditions, he is revered as Papa Legba. His prominence among the Orishas is rooted in his being the first created by Olodumare, existing before the world began, and bearing witness to its creation.

Elegua is the master of crossroads, roads, and doorways, with each of his many paths reflecting a distinct aspect of his complex nature. Tradition holds that he has 101 different roads, each connected to various places in the natural world.

Devotees believe that Elegua is ever-present, and that all prayers and spiritual practices must first pass through him before reaching any other Orisha. As the gatekeeper between the spiritual and material realms, Elegua controls the doors through which destinies flow, wielding the power to change the course of a person's life. He is also known for testing the truthfulness and integrity of individuals, revealing their true character.

• 5400 x 7200 pix, 300 DPI – Image Fits an 18” X 24” Frame
• 7200 x 10800 pix, 300 DPI – Image Fits a 24” X 36” Frame

Once your order is complete you will have immediate access to your images via a link on the Orders Status page. In addition, you will receive an email containing the same link which you can use to download your digital files as well.
