JuJu dolls have a long history in New Orleans Voodoo and are prized for their ability to attract good luck and blessings, while protecting their owner from evil and negative energies. They can be placed above the front door (if space allows) or displayed on a shelf or table where they can face the front door or the main entryway.
All my dolls are handmade, and no two are alike. Each one is adorned with a variety of traditional items such as beads, ribbons, charms, buttons and shells and each contains real Spanish moss, as well as other herbs and curios. Their hair has been blended and spun from colorful merino wool and flower silks. Some hair may also contain specialty fibers to add a touch of metallic or holographic effects.
Each doll has been prepared, blessed and consecrated according to tradition.
