Manman Brigitte: 

Part of the Guede family, Manman Brigitte is a powerful Loa of death, the wife of Baron Samedi, the mother of cemeteries and the guardian and protector of graves.

She is the only Loa represented as white and is commonly associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid. As such, Manman Brigitte also has associations with healing, protection, fertility, and divine judgement. She is often depicted as fair skinned with long red hair, and wearing lavish, overtly sexual clothing.

As a powerful healer, Manman Brigitte is often called upon to assist those who are critically ill and/or near the end of their lives. In this role, she will nurse those she can back to health so they may continue to live out the remainder of their days, while guiding those who have reached the end of their journey towards the afterlife.

When called upon for protection, Manman Brigitte watches over those asking for her assistance like a hawk, especially when it comes to women, and particularly in cases of domestic violence, unfaithful lovers, or childbirth.

Manman Brigitte is a tough woman who has no qualms with unleashing a profanity-laced tirade against those who displease her. Like Baron Samedi she can be loud and crass with a penchant for swearing and she's known to be a mighty force when the wicked need to be punished.
