Obatala:

Obatala, meaning king of the white cloth, is the eldest of all the Orisha, and he is revered as the king of kings. Under the authority of his father Olorun, Obatala brought the Earth and all its living creatures into existence and is therefore considered the creator of all mankind.  

Seen as the quintessential father figure, Obatala watches over all the younger Orisha, intervening in their arguments and disagreements. Due to this aspect of his personality, he is widely respected as a fair and patient judge, aiding the innocent and punishing those who are guilty. He is recognized as the Orisha of leadership, wisdom, knowledge, justice and fairness, and governs over military forces.

Obatala is also a benevolent deity, always willing to provide kindness and compassion to those who pray to him, especially individuals with disabilities. He finds a sense of clarity and purity of thought by immersing himself in nature, high above the distractions of daily life. Because of this, Obatala is also associated with high places such as mountains and hills, which symbolize his ability to see all things from a place of higher understanding.

After purchase, you will receive a zip file containing 3 JPG images, each image has been formatted to fit a specific frame. Sizes are as follows:

• 4800 x 7200 pix, 300 DPI - Image Fits a 16” x 24” Frame
• 5400 x 7200 pix, 300 DPI – Image Fits an 18” X 24” Frame
• 7200 x 10800 pix, 300 DPI – Image Fits a 24” X 36” Frame

Once your order is complete you will have immediate access to your images via a link on the Orders Status page. In addition, you will receive an email containing the same link which you can use to download your digital files as well.
